$25 10.6 disk

I hopelessly behind the upgrade curve, but I put it out this info as an FYI. I went into my local Fry's (Los Angeles) and they had the 10.6 upgrade for $24.98 and a family pack for $43.98. I realize that this price can be gotten online and at other places, but hey .....

desert island actually.... no really!! I was under the impression that all the Snow Leopard discounting at brick and mortar retail stores was over. And if you ever shop at Fry's you know that discounted prices are pretty much limited to sale items. I had checked Best Buy and MacMall (the retail stores) and the $25 price has long since gone back to $30. There are a fair number of copies for sale for less on ebay but that seems a bit ifffy. I held off upgrading before now, because I couldn't risk messing up my work machine with any downtime, but since I'm in a lull .....
