Used Blackra1n [blackra1n.com]

No problems so far and I've installed a bunch of apps from Cydia and Rock.

Added a bunch of extra functionality with no problems yet.

Like what? I've only had mine a week, so I'm still getting used to it.... And trying not to toss it through the wall as calls drop. In my apartment I average 5 minutes before the call drops.

Data side is really cool though.

sbsettings might be the best argument. easily turn off/on wifi and 3g or edge to save battery life. makes a huge difference.

SBSetting is nice. Categories, backgrounder, CategoriesSB are great. I'm even thinking about buying the app that fools WiFi programs into using 3G instead.
