Computer Ø Seen From 1 Specific Computer

Six computers (2 Mini, 2 Quad, 1 G3, 1 G4) on network. Computer A is accessible from every computer except from computer B. Connected successfully via A.local or IP address for years but no longer. Reset router - no difference. Everybody sees each other except this one unit can't find the one inches away. What gives, fellas?

A garbled "sharing preference" perhaps?

I generally have 3, sometimes 4 on the 2 wifi networks sharing a common DSL router. Every now and then one goes awol. (even rejects my common 1 owner password) I usually just change something in sharing, reboot it, change it back to what it originally was and works fine again.

You can also try System>Library>CoreServices>RemoteManagement>ARDAgent (get info) and delete the user "wheel" on the rouge computer and reboot.

We're good to go again. Might have been the "wheel" thing somehow. Changed it to something & back again & everybody's talking to each other once more.
Tanks.
